As the Law of Attraction states, our thoughts and feelings create and attract our experiences in reality. Yet, there are things about our lives we are not happy with.  It’s time to take a good hard look at the most probable villain behind this problem – our words.

We’ve heard it over and over again: thoughts create reality. Yes, thoughts are very powerful. Thoughts inspire emotions, which create raw energy in the form of your intent. This energy then becomes physical form or experience. There’s one more key ingredient that many people leave out when talking about the Law of Attraction: the power of your words.

You may have heard about the power of your words and however, how often do you stop and think about that statement? Reality exists in varying states of vibration.  Our physical realm vibrates on a lower frequency than our mental realm, which vibrates much faster.   Our thoughts are a part of this realm, with a much higher frequency of vibration than physical reality.

Our bodies are part of the denser, slower-vibrating physical plane.  Yet, somehow, we are able to create our desires in the higher frequency and bring it into manifestation in the physical.

Our word is a very unique device.  The power of your words is one of the most powerful tools you have!  Is it hard to believe that the one thing we overlook and ignore the most is actually our most potent tool? Look at the world around you – all the trouble, strife, war, greed… all of that is a result of misuse of the word.  As a species, humanity is constantly using black magic unconsciously, and you see the results in the chaos around you. But why is the word so powerful?

Your word is the direct connection between your thought (higher-vibrational planes) and your body (lower-vibrational physical plane). When you speak, you are bringing your thoughts out directly into the physical, into physical sound waves, charged with the intent behind the words which have been spoken. Sound is energy – thus, this charged energy is immediately active in the physical plane.

When you say something, you create physical energy charged with your intent.  When you visualize, you charge higher energy and give it the intent to manifest, but when you speak, you immediately bring charged energy into the physical realm.  This intent-charged energy is now already vibrating in the physical sphere. This energy will now manifest far more quickly than visualized energy. In many cases, this energy will manifest almost immediately.  Have you ever said “where is so-and-so” and they immediately pop up?

So we need to become aware of the power of our words. When we speak, we are not just expressing ourselves outwardly. We are creating our reality. If you think about it, “expressing ourselves outwardly” basically means just that – the expression of our inner into our outer. In fact, there are tons of clues like that in the language we use every day that we don’t catch simply because we aren’t paying attention.

So be very careful with the words you speak.  Thought manifests more slowly.  There is time to override negative thoughts.  But when you speak negative words, you have already brought that energy directly into the physical.  Watch your mouth!  This one tip can allow you to literally change your life overnight.

The largest obstacles standing in our way when we begin attempting to utilize the Law of Attraction are our current habitual thought processes.  Whether we realize it or not, most of us focus solely on our lacks, our wants, (also translated as “things we don’t have” or “lack”), and on the things that irritate us or stand in our way.  This is largely counterproductive, as what we are magnetizing is more lack and more irritation.

There is a fantastic trick to altering our mode of thought in a more positive, abundant direction.  This is the process of gratitude.  Learning how to be grateful is one of the biggest steps you can take in obtaining abundance into your life.

Take a moment and stop worrying about the things you need.  Stop worrying about the things you want.  Stop worrying about what’s going wrong and what you can’t do anything about.  Instead, focus on what it is in your own life that you already have that you are grateful for.  Do you have a significant other?  A child?  A great car?  A great computer?  Great friends?  A job you enjoy?  Even a book that you are reading right now that just tickles you pink is a good point of focus.

Become aware of the effect these things have on your life.  What would life be like without them?  Aren’t you grateful to have these things?  Learning how to be grateful and focus on your gratitude for what you have. Spend a little time every morning and every night feeling gratitude for the things you already have acquired or accomplished that have made your life better.

Now here’s the fun part. When you focus on the things that you love and already have, you create a magnet to attract more things you will love and have. When you are constantly grateful for your family, your house, your pets, or whatever, you are placing these positive emotions and thoughts out in front of your negative worries. Now, the stronger of these thoughts (the positive ones) will begin to have the most effect on your manifestations.

Because you are now in a mindset of enjoying the things you have, you are in a present, positive state of mind which allows fast and easy attraction of more wonderful things and people into your life.

The irony is that most of us completely ignore and neglect that which we already have, and therefore we are creating even more lack in our lives – we are creating an energetic lack of that which we’ve already attracted! That form of magnetizing will only continue to bring you things and experiences you do not desire. Focusing on and developing gratitude causes your energy to focus on manifesting more reasons to be grateful.

And so it is that the simplest, most effective trick for manifesting things that you want is to stop and take the time to appreciate and enjoy the things that you already have.

A very popular question we have is can the law of attraction and weight loss be used together?  I want to lose weight with my mind!  The answer is a definitive yes!  However there are a few steps you should take to ensure success.

First, you need to become aware of the negative thoughts you have about excess weight.  Some of these statements include: “If you eat that, you’ll get fat.” “Obesity is genetic and can’t be controlled.” “It’s hard to lose weight.” Now, these extremely common statements and regularly accepted “facts” are part of the root cause of our obesity problems. What we accept, we allow. What we believe, is.

If you have accepted that eating certain foods will make you fat, and then proceed to eat them because you like them, you may expect to grow fat. If you accept that obesity is genetic, you will not attempt to lose weight. You won’t even try. And if you accept that losing weight is difficult, as almost anyone will happily tell you, then you are agreeing that your path to losing weight must be difficult, if not impossible.

However, step back and take a good hard look at your beliefs about diet, exercise, and weight. Do you believe that because you are a couch potato or a computer geek, your lack of exercise will cause you to become fat?

Then don’t be surprised when it happens. Do you believe that eating the large fries instead of small is going to probably make you fat? You’re probably already gaining weight. Our beliefs, thoughts and expectations firmly dictate our reality. So if you want to change your reality, first you need to change your thoughts.

This world of solid matter is not nearly as solid as it appears. It is in fact woven from a maelstrom of subatomic particles, whizzing and whirling around, inhabiting less than 1% of all space. These particles can simply blink in and out of existence and teleport from one spot to another. That’s not science fiction – that’s science fact.

Bring it up a few levels, and you have the human cells. Most of the cells in your body die and are replaced fairly frequently. These cells grow according to what you place in your body and what nutrients they are given or deprived of.

If you begin a healthy lifestyle now, the potential for fast bodily change is very real, but you must be aware that this is possible, otherwise you are going to fall back onto the old stockpile belief of “losing weight is hard”.

Your thoughts can easily manipulate your reality, and what could you possibly have more control over than your own physical body, the one apparatus in the physical world with which you do not appear to have a disconnect? (All disconnection from the external world is false, but appears to be real).

But the most important thing in weight loss is your mental bodily image. Every day you look at yourself in the mirror. You snarl at your weight. You groan that you do not look the way you want to. You twist, turn and contort yourself and look with disgust at the part or parts of your body that you are unhappy with.

This is feeding negative energy into your bodily image, and that’s exactly what you will attract – more things to feel disgusted with about your body.

When you see yourself in the mirror, stop judging yourself and begin loving yourself. That body carries you around, and you should be grateful that you have one at all! Fully accept your body as it is right now, and decide that you would like to change it in order to give yourself a happier, healthier existence. Again, accept your body in the mirror, and stop snarling and judging yourself.

When you love your body, then naturally your body will feel better and will become healthier. As this happens your body will naturally shift to fit the image that you are holding in your mind: a healthier, thinner body. You will never lose weight while you judge yourself fat. That is rule number 1, and unfortunately that is the rule that 99% of people break from the get-go.

When you appreciate something you feed it energy and bring more of it into the world. So when you admire and appreciate something, you create more of it in the world. And just like with people, when you want the Universe to treat you well, a little appreciation goes a long, long way.

When someone appreciates you how do you feel? Wonderful right? Feeling good is a signal that we are in alignment with our source, fully-engaged in the blissful flow of creation. Appreciation is therefore a way to put yourself and guide others into better alignment with the source. In a nutshell, appreciation is one of the best and highest ways to connect to our true source.

When you appreciate another person you encourage them to develop more of those qualities about them which you appreciate. Think of a smile. How many times have you discovered that when you smile at someone, for whatever reason, they smile back at you. Is it contagious? Of course it is! Or better yet, think of someone yawning. Just the word yawn, is powerful enough to trigger you to yawn! Like everything else according to the Law of Attraction, appreciation attracts more appreciation!

When you begin applying the law of attraction to your life more proactively, you may wonder whether you need to take physical action in addition to your mental and emotional exercises. This answer will of course vary depending on who you ask. Some people may tell you that you don’t need to do anything, it is enough for you just to direct the right frequency of thought and emotion toward your desired outcome. Then there are those who believe that action is always necessary, because action is the vehicle through which all desires are manifested.

It is out experience that applying the law of attraction proactively can easily work both ways. It really depends on the situation. There are times that you may or may not find yourself needing to take specific actions toward your goals. Here are a simple processes to help you know how to apply the law of attraction for sure:

• Work Inwards First – Focus on getting your thoughts, emotions, beliefs and expectations into complete alignment with what you want. Don’t worry about “how” it’s going to come about, just focus on putting forth the right frequency of energy to attract it. You can do this by meditating, visualizing, affirming, making a vision board, and so on.

• Completely Let Go – Once you are in alignment with your desire, turn it over to the universe. Don’t worry about whether it will arrive, or drive yourself crazy trying to come up with a plan. Just step back from it and let it ferment for a little while. The length of time is up to you, but I recommend at least a week or two.

• Tune into Your Intuition – During this letting go period, turn your attention inward regularly. Tune into your intuition and ask if there is anything you can do to bring this desire into your life. You may or may not receive any insights about it.

If you do feel a hunch or nudge to do something specific, by all means do it. If not, simply keep on the lookout for any opportunities that might show up later. Don’t try to force or hurry the process along, because you’ll probably end up causing more delays. These things have a way of arriving at exactly the right time, regardless of how we try to mess it up!

The truth is, there is no right way or wrong way to use the Law of Attraction. Interestingly, the way it works usually seems to correspond with your beliefs. If you believe you MUST take action to attract your desires, guess what? You’ll probably have to take some kind of action. Likewise, if you believe that you do not necessarily have to take action, the universe will find a way to deliver your desires without a bit of additional effort on your part.

There are instances though that you will be prompted to take action even if you initially didn’t believe you’d have to do so. When this happens, simply follow where your heart leads. The actions you are encouraged to take will ALWAYS be for your highest good, and they’ll usually be a lot of fun too!

Learn to trust your intuition for guidance whenever you want to attract something, and you will be shown the way to get it as quickly and easily as possible – whatever that may involve.

Learning how to manifest what you want with the law of attraction is simple, as long as you know how to properly attract what you desire. A concept that is central to the Law of Attraction is that the things you think become reality. You don’t have to look far to see the laws of abundance in action. The universe likes to produce, grow and expand. The universe doesn’t understand limitation. To try and grasp this principle, let’s look at a blade of grass.

The life span of a blade of grass is only approximately 5 to 6 months in many regions. It starts out as a seed, and with plenty of sunshine and water, the grass grows and matures. When it matures, it begins again to produce seeds, thousands of them and the cycle continues year after year, century after century. This just shows the law of abundance in action.

So we ask the question “what are you abundantly attracting?” Are you experiencing the kind of abundance your heart truly desires? If not, there must be a reason!

If you are thinking, I don’t have anything, then the law of abundance is operating-on and attracting exactly what you are focusing on. You are getting exactly what you are thinking about. If you complain you have no money, then you will have no money. If you say “I can’t lose weight”, then guess what, you won’t lose weight. So what do we do to get the law of abundance and law of attraction in action?

To manifest what you want, you have to first visualize exactly what you want. It needs to be a crystal clear in your mind what you want – you need to visualize it in all its true glory. If you have a problem with crystal clear visualizing, then put up lots of pictures up on a corkboard or on your wall.

The Universal Law of attraction and abundance tells you that you have to be crystal clear in your visualization. If you want an extra $1000 next week, put up a $1,000 bill and start doing something that can create that extra $1000. You may not know what will make you that $1000 but take some kind of ACTION. Take action and then it will be clear to you how that money will come. If we sit back and wish, it will never happen.
