Applying The Law of Attraction To Your Life Proactively

When you begin applying the law of attraction to your life more proactively, you may wonder whether you need to take physical action in addition to your mental and emotional exercises. This answer will of course vary depending on who you ask. Some people may tell you that you don’t need to do anything, it is enough for you just to direct the right frequency of thought and emotion toward your desired outcome. Then there are those who believe that action is always necessary, because action is the vehicle through which all desires are manifested.

It is out experience that applying the law of attraction proactively can easily work both ways. It really depends on the situation. There are times that you may or may not find yourself needing to take specific actions toward your goals. Here are a simple processes to help you know how to apply the law of attraction for sure:

• Work Inwards First – Focus on getting your thoughts, emotions, beliefs and expectations into complete alignment with what you want. Don’t worry about “how” it’s going to come about, just focus on putting forth the right frequency of energy to attract it. You can do this by meditating, visualizing, affirming, making a vision board, and so on.

• Completely Let Go – Once you are in alignment with your desire, turn it over to the universe. Don’t worry about whether it will arrive, or drive yourself crazy trying to come up with a plan. Just step back from it and let it ferment for a little while. The length of time is up to you, but I recommend at least a week or two.

• Tune into Your Intuition – During this letting go period, turn your attention inward regularly. Tune into your intuition and ask if there is anything you can do to bring this desire into your life. You may or may not receive any insights about it.

If you do feel a hunch or nudge to do something specific, by all means do it. If not, simply keep on the lookout for any opportunities that might show up later. Don’t try to force or hurry the process along, because you’ll probably end up causing more delays. These things have a way of arriving at exactly the right time, regardless of how we try to mess it up!

The truth is, there is no right way or wrong way to use the Law of Attraction. Interestingly, the way it works usually seems to correspond with your beliefs. If you believe you MUST take action to attract your desires, guess what? You’ll probably have to take some kind of action. Likewise, if you believe that you do not necessarily have to take action, the universe will find a way to deliver your desires without a bit of additional effort on your part.

There are instances though that you will be prompted to take action even if you initially didn’t believe you’d have to do so. When this happens, simply follow where your heart leads. The actions you are encouraged to take will ALWAYS be for your highest good, and they’ll usually be a lot of fun too!

Learn to trust your intuition for guidance whenever you want to attract something, and you will be shown the way to get it as quickly and easily as possible – whatever that may involve.

When learning to use the Law of Attraction, it is important to begin prioritizing your desires. Some desires may take months to manifest, while others take mere hours. Properly applying the law of attraction by listing and prioritizing your desires, will help you to attract the most important things to you. Saving you a lot of time on manifesting things that can wait until later. Applying the law of attraction in the form of a list is a great way to help you sort out what i most important in your life first.

First, take a sheet of paper and divide it into four quadrants. Label the top left “NEED, NOW”. Label the top right “NEED, SOON”. Label the bottom left “WANT, NOW” and label the bottom right “WANT, SOON”.  Now begin to mentally sort through all of your current desires.  Some are things that are very necessary – money to keep the power on, wellness for a sick relative… Put these in quadrant one.  Only write true needs on the top half of the paper – save all of your fun stuff for the WANT sections!

Now here’s the deal.  There will always be new needs in quadrant one, and even in quadrant two.  Do not deal with quadrant two yet unless you really need to – wait until those necessities warrant moving into quadrant one. Pick two items from quadrant one and one item from quadrant three, or “WANT, NOW”, and use these as the three items of focus in your next week of visualization exercises.   Try to do your visualizations once each day, but at least three times per week.

When you begin manifesting your desires, cross them off your list, make any adjustments (upcoming needs -> immediate needs, upcoming wants -> immediate wants) and additions to your list, and repeat the cycle.  If you find that one of your desires is taking a particularly long time to manifest, you can choose to persist until it does, or swap it for another and keep working at it.  At least in the beginning, it is recommended that you persist with your desire until it manifests to ensure that you don’t develop an impatient attitude.

In time you will find that your manifesting abilities have grown enough to allow you to discard the list entirely.  Even visualization exercises will eventually become unnecessary.

You will simply realize a need or a desire, focus on it briefly, and be able to give it all the energy it needs to come moving toward you. That is the point of mastery these exercises are moving you toward – to become the conscious creator of your life moment by moment, day by day.  Only then will you know that you are applying the law of attraction correctly!

Ever wondered where your thoughts and your perspective on any given situation come from?  Well I can tell you it’s not from the situation itself, but from the emotion that the situation brings up inside of you.  You may never have seen a correlation between one and the other before but individual thought and emotion are inextricably connected.  The emotions that we develop in our experiences in life help directly shape and affect all subsequent interactions, experiences, relationships, and setbacks.

The power of emotion has long been over looked.  It’s time that we started to see the direct relationship between emotion and thought in order to re channel our emotion-based thoughts to maximize our true potential in health, wealth, relationships, career, and all that makes up life as we know it.

So how do emotions and the law of attraction affect each other?

Emotions rule us.  By gaining a better understanding of our emotions, we will then be able to better examine ourselves, adjust our perspective, and succeed on the best path for us as individuals.  When we are able to control our emotions, only then will the law of attraction help us manifest what we want.  If you constantly angry, sad and fearful, no amount of visualization and affirmations will help you manifest what you want.

The law of of attraction works so effortless for some because those people maintain an optimistic outlook on events.  For example, two people may get turn down for a promotion.  One of them immediately engages in negative self talk and blames themselves for not working hard enough.  The other person believes that the raise wasn’t meant to be at the time and carry on determined to try again.

How can we explain this difference?  Simply put, different situations in life affect you differently from your peers.  Your experiences in life and perspectives color every occurrence, action, and reaction in your life.  Your experiences determine what career you will go after, what types of relationships you will have, and how far you will go to achieve your short and long term goals.  And remember because emotions rule these experiences, it is your emotions that determine just how happy and contented your life is.

Those of you who have a negative pattern of thinking, need to reprogram your emotions, thoughts and feelings to help the law of attraction manifest what you want.  Although this task may seem intimidating it is certainly not impossible to do so.

  • Start by becoming more aware of your actions, reactions, etc. By introducing yourself to the problem, you can begin to start addressing it in a constructive and demonstrative way.
  • Evaluate the possible origins of your actions, reactions, etc. By reminding yourself of what influential factors have shaped your emotions and thereby your thoughts, you can start to dispel any negative assumptions you once held, and replace them with more positive ones.
  • Start proactively replacing your negative emotions with positive ones. Determine how you would like to feel and react, and be aware that you have the power at any given time to understand the emotion you are feeling and change that thought in order to bring forth a more powerful positive emotion.
  • Get rid of negative influences. If you have people or factors in your life that are contributing to your negative thought patterns and emotions, release them.

Keep in mind that you always have a choice.  Maybe not a choice in what has happened, but a choice in how you react to what has happened.  Choose as much as possible to see the good in any situation and the emotions those thoughts bring forth will help you through your hardships.  Stay positive and the law of attraction will respond in kind.
